Having a child with cancer has been such a heartbreaking roller coaster ride. I've known a few people in my life that have had to battle cancer, or stand by a loved one battling cancer, and I have always focused on the health aspect of it, how hard that is for them. I have never thought of how difficult the financial aspect of cancer can be. It is also devastating. It is expensive. Jobs get put on hold, but the outgo to keep the home going is still there. I was laid off from my job and I have not found a replacement. I am now doing everything I can to earn money from home.
